Representative Miller, of the Tenth District of Michigan, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002. She served on the Harrison (Michigan) Township Board of Trustees from 1979 to 1980, as Harrison Township Supervisor from 1980 to 1992, as Mocomb County Treasurer from 1992 to 1994, and as Michigan Secretary of State from 1995 to 2002.
