Major Provisions of the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 budget resolution (S. Con. Res. 13) includes reconciliation instructions directing the Senate Heath, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee and the House Education and Labor Committee to report changes in laws within their jurisdictions to reduce the deficit by $1 billion for the period of FY 2009 through FY 2014.
