Representative Shuster, of the Ninth District of Pennsylvania, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in May 2001 to fill the unexpired term of his father, Bud Shuster, who resigned from the seat. He was a Manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company from 1983 to 1987, a District Manager for Bandag, Inc. from 1987 to 1990, and General Manager of Shuster Chrysler from 1990 to 2001.
