From the time the President signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the Recovery Act) into law, the Office of the Inspector General has provided oversight of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) administration of the $4.4 billion Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) and will continue to do so throughout the remainder of the grant program life cycle.
