Trans-Pacific Partnership Negotiations
In mid-November 2013, representatives from 12 Pacific Rim nations met in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a round of secret talks regarding a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) ― a sweeping international trade agreement that would apply to Australia, Brunei, Chile, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States, and Vietnam.
