Inspector General John Roth

John Roth assumed the post of Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security in March 2014. He previously served as Director of the Office of Criminal Investigations at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Prior to that, he held several positions at the U.S. Department, beginning in 1987. The Department of Homeland Security combined 22 Federal departments and agencies into a unified, integrated cabinet agency when it was established in 2002.
