Fetal Tissue Investigative Panel
On November 16, the House Administration Committee voted to authorize up to $800,000 to continue the work of a controversial panel formed to investigate the alleged sale of fetal tissue for research. The Select Panel on Infant Lives, as it is called, was created in October 2015 by House Republicans after antiabortion activists released secretly recorded videos they claimed showed illegal trade in fetal tissue by Planned Parenthood.
