Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly recently announced that it will now offer a half-price generic version of insulin, a drug that millions of people depend upon to control their diabetes and other potentially life-threatening conditions. This move is widely viewed as a response to the Senate Finance Committee’s inquiries into drug pricing.
