Family Planning Funding
On February 22, the Trump Administration released a final rule revising the regulations governing Title X, the Federal grant program that provides individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services. The program prioritizes low-income families or uninsured people who might not otherwise have access to such services. The new rule would eliminate the ability of organizations that perform or provide referrals for abortion services — such as Planned Parenthood — to apply for funding.
