Suzanna Gratia Hupp
Former Texas State Representative
Suzanna Gratia Hupp is a former state representative of Texas and a survivor of the 1991 mass shooting in Killeen, where she lost both of her parents. Since the tragedy, she has become a leading advocate of gun rights, particularly the rights of an individual to carry a concealed weapon. In 1997, the NRA awarded her the Sybil Ludington Women’s Freedom Award, recognizing her accomplishments.
