Donald Trump was elected president on Nov. 8, 2016. Four years later, he was defeated in his bid for reelection by Democrat Joe Biden. Trump did not accept the loss, however, spending the months after the election making unfounded allegations of voter fraud and filing legal challenges that were rejected by numerous courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
