Founded in 1981, the Center on Budget and Policy Prioritiesis a nonpartisan research organization and policy institute thatconducts research and analysis on a range of government policiesand programs, with an emphasis on those affecting low- and moderate-incomepeople. The Center examines data and research findings and producesanalyses designed to be accessible to public officials, othernonprofit organizations, and the media.
