The Biotechnology Industry Organization is the largest trade organization to serve and represent the biotechnology industry in the United States and internationally. BIO represents companies, academic institutions, and State biotechnology centers engaged in the development of products and services in the areas of biomedicine, diagnostics, agriculture, energy, and environmental and industrial applications.
