The NFIB is the Nation’s largest small business advocacy organization, representing 600,000 small business owners in all 50 States. The typical NFIB member employs five people and grosses $350,000 in annual sales. The organization’s representation of retail, service, manufacturing, and construction businesses reflects the Nation’s small business community. NFIB bases its legislative positions and priorities on regular surveys of its membership. Susan Eckerly joined NFIB in 1996.
