Senator Craig was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1990. He served in the Idaho Senate from 1974 to 1980, and represented the First District of Idaho in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1980 to 1990. He serves on the Appropriations Committee, the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, and the Special Committee on Aging.
