The American Beverage Institute is a coalition of restaurants and onpremise retailers committed to the responsible serving of adult beverages. The organization accomplishes its mission through issue research, server and consumer education, and legislative outreach. Mr. Berman is the Washington representative of the National Association of Beverage Retailers as well as General Counsel for the American Beverage Institute. He received his juris doctorate from the College of William and Mary and is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
