The Joint Ocean Commission Initiative is a collaborative effort of the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy and the Pew Oceans Commission to catalyze ocean policy reform. The Initiative is guided by a task force made up of five members of the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy and five members from the Pew Oceans Committee. Its primary goal is to accelerate the pace of change that results in meaningful ocean policy reform.
