HUD-Administered Housing Assistance
The following are major currently funded Federal housing programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI) Administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) ADDI aims to increase the homeownership rate, especially among lower income and minority households, and to revitalize and stabilize communities. First-time homebuyers interested in purchasing single-family housing are eligible for assistance. Funds may be used for downpayment, closing costs, and, if necessary, rehabilitation.
