Representative Brady, of the First District of Pennsylvania, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998. He served as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Philadelphia City Council from 1975 to1983 and as a member of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission from 1991 to 1998.
