The Ban on Depictions of Animal Cruelty

The bill consists of one section. That section enacts new Section 48 in chapter 3 of title 18 of the U.S. Code (which deals with activities involving animals, birds, fish, and plants). New Section 48 prohibits the creation, sale, or possession of a depiction of animal cruelty with the intention of placing that depiction in interstate or foreign commerce for commercial gain.
