Susan Chana Lask, Counsel of Record On March 3, 2005, April Florence was driving her husband Albert and their three children to her mother’s house in Burlington County, New Jersey, when she was pulled over by a New Jersey State trooper. When Albert Florence identified himself as the owner of the vehicle, he was arrested on an outstanding civil contempt warrant from Essex County, New Jersey, for failure to pay a court-ordered fine.
