Terms Used in the Biofuels Debate

Biodiesel — A fuel derived from biological sources that can be blended with diesel for use in diesel engine vehicles. Biofuel — A fuel made from renewable biological sources. The word biofuel covers a range of products, some of which — like ethanol and biodiesel — are commercially available today and some of which are still in research and development.
