Representative Watts, of the Fourth District of Oklahoma, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1994. A former businessman and professional football player, he served on the Oklahoma State Corporate Commission from 1990 to 1994, including a term as chairman. He is a member of the Armed Services Committee and the Special Oversight Panel on Terrorism. Since 1998, he has served as Conference Chairman for the House Republican Leadership.
