Global Trade Watch, headquartered in Washington, DC, was created in 1993 to promote government and corporate accountability in the area of international commercial agreements shaping the current version of globalization. GTW is a division of Public Citizen, the national consumer group founded in 1972 by Ralph Nader. GTW promotes a citizen’s perspective on an array of globalization issues, including implications for health and safety, environmental protection, economic justice, and democratic, accountable governance.
