In August 2019, the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission voted 8-1 to adopt a zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) standard, making it the 13th state, along with the District of Columbia, to align, at least in part, with California’s Advanced Clean Cars Program on vehicle emissions (10 states have a ZEV standard).
