Representative Chabot, of the First District of Ohio, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015. He previously represented that district from 1995 to 2009. He was a member of the Cincinnati City Council from 1985 to 1990 and served as a Hamilton County, Ohio, Commissioner from 1990 to 1994.
