Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a nonprofit, grassroots organization with more than 600 chapters nationwide. The organization was founded in 1980 by a small group of citizens in California, including a woman whose daughter was killed by a repeat offender drunk driver. It extends to nearly three million members and supporters nationwide and abroad, making it the largest victim-advocate and anti-DWI (drinking while intoxicated) activist organization in the world. Ms. Nunnallee is serving as MADD’s National President for the 1998-99 term. She cofounded local MADD affiliates in New Mexico and Florida, and served as Chair of MADD’s New Mexico chapter…
