The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation (ITIF), founded in 2006, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that focuses on various policy issues related to technological innovation. ITIF aims to provide policymakers with high-quality information, analysis and recommendations. Daniel Castro’s work covers information technology and internet policy. In 2015, he was appointed to the Commerce Data Advisory Council at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
