Honorable Marge Roukema

Representative Roukema, of the Fifth District of New Jersey, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1980. She was a high school teacher from 1951 to 1955 and cofounded the Ridgewood Senior Citizens Housing Corporation in 1973. She is a member of the Banking and Financial Services Committee and Chair of the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee within that committee. She also serves on the Education and the Workforce Committee.
