Recent Action on Food Safety
In the wake of recent incidences of food-borne illnesses resulting from contaminated products, there has been a flurry of activity in Congress relating to the current Federal system for regulating food safety and proposals for reform. Congressional Hearings Several committees with jurisdiction over food-safety laws have held hearings on this topic during the 110th Congress.
