Susan K. Ullman, Counsel of RecorfDuring the 1995-96 academic year, University of Wisconsin students were required to pay a mandatory student activities fee of $166.75 a semester. A small portion of these funds was made available for the student government, with the oversight of the 17-member Board of Regents, to allocate to individual student groups on a viewpoint-neutral basis.
