Professor Robertson holds the Vinson and Elkins Chair at the University of Texas School of Law at Austin. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School, he has written widely on law and bioethics issues, including the book Children of Choice: Freedom and the New Reproductive Technologies. A Fellow of the Hastings Center, he has served on a Federal Task Force on Organ Transplantation, on the National Institutes of Health Panel on Fetal Tissue Transplantation, and on the Ethics Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
