The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) is a national organization founded in 1984 that works to protect the rights of immigrants through public policy advocacy, community education and litigation. Jorge Barón is a lawyer advocating on behalf of immigrants and refugees. He has served as executive director of NWIRP since April 2008.
