Micron is the largest producer of Dynamic Random Access Memory, better known as DRAM, in the United States and the second largest in the world. DRAM is recognized as the key memory semiconductor used in everything from computers to defense systems to satellites. Micron is also the ninth largest maker of personal computers in the United States, employing over 13,000 people, with operations in Idaho, Utah, Minnesota, and North Carolina.
