In addition to his position at Johns Hopkins, Professor Hanke serves as Chairman of the Friedberg Mercantile Group, Inc., a firm that engages in currency and securities trading, as President of the Toronto Trust-Argentina mutual fund in Buenos Aires, and as President of FCMI NZ Financial Corporation, Ltd. in Aukland, New Zealand.
