Dr. Edith Guffey
Member, Board of Directors, PFLAG National Conference Minister, Kansas-Oklahoma Conference, United Church of Christ
In her role as conference minister, Dr. Guffey provides support for 60 churches in Kansas and Oklahoma. Over the years, she has advocated for the inclusion of LGBTQ persons in the church community. In addition to her work with the United Church of Christ, she is a member of the national board of directors for PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), an organization founded in 1973 that works to ensure all people are respected, valued and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. …
