Health Care Law in Limbo
With the Affordable Care Act in legal limbo, pending the Supreme Court’s decision on its constitutionality, all major health care legislation is on hold. The Court’s decision, expected to be handed down in June, could either uphold the law, throw it out, or strike down specific provisions, such as the requirement that people either buy insurance or pay a penalty for the planned Medicaid expansion.
