Honorable John Rutherford

Rep. Rutherford, of Florida’s 4th Congressional District, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2016. Prior to joining Congress, he had a long career in law enforcement, starting out as a patrolman in the Jacksonville sheriff’s office. In 2003, he was elected sheriff of Duval County, serving for three terms. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee in the 116th Congress.
