Verne E. Rupright, Counsel of Record John Doe I and John Doe II were convicted of child sexual abuse in Alaska in the 1980s and sentenced to eight years in prison apiece. Both were paroled in 1990 and have not had any subsequent arrests. John Doe I has since married Jane Doe and, following a State court determination of full rehabilitation, was granted custody of his minor daughter.
