On June 23, 2022, the Supreme Court issued its opinion in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, a case challenging the constitutionality of a portion of New York’s firearms licensing scheme that restricts the carrying of certain licensed firearms outside the home under the Second and 14th Amendments.
