Verna L. Williams, Counsel of Record Aurelia Davis is the mother of LaShonda D., who, as a fifth-grader at Hubbard Elementary School, was allegedly repeatedly harassed by G.F., a fellow student. Ms. Davis filed suit in Federal court for damages under Title IX, alleging that the Monroe County school district and several of its officials neglected to deal with the situation. Ms. Williams is Vice President and Director of Educational Opportunities at the National Women’s Law Center.
