Walter E. Williams is the John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University, where he joined the faculty in 1980. He was department chair from 1995 to 2001. He previously taught at Temple University, California State University, and Los Angeles City College. He is the author of several books, including South Africa’s War Against Capitalism and More Liberty Means Less Government. He writes a weekly column for Creators Syndicate called "A Minority View."
