Honorable Ernest F. Hollings

Senator Hollings was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1966. He was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1948 to 1954, and was Speaker Pro-Tem from 1951 to 1954. He served as Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina from 1954 to 1958 and as Governor from 1958 to 1962.
