Founded in 1908, the National Governors’ Association isthe only bipartisan national organization of, by, and for theNation’s governors. Its members are the governors of the 50 States,the Commonwealths of the Northern Mariana Islands and Puerto Rico,and the territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Virgin Islands.Through NGA, governors identify priority issues and deal collectivelywith issues of public policy and governance at both the nationaland State levels.
