Khashoggi Disappearance

In October, journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was a columnist for the Washington Post, disappeared. Khashoggi was from Saudi Arabia but lived in the United States and was in the process of applying for citizenship. He was a harsh critic of the Saudi Government. He is presumed to have been killed and dismembered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The episode raises questions about how America handles human rights violations by another country.
