Shortly before adjourning to campaign for the November elections, the House approved an energy package designed to limit the power of the Executive Branch to issue regulations on coal. The bill, H.R. 3409, formally titled the Coal Miner Employment and Domestic Infrastructure Protection Act, is popularly known as the Stop the War on Coal Act.   Passage of H.R. 3409.
