School Nutrition Standards
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced that it plans to roll back Obama-era school nutrition regulations that set standards for grains, flavored milks, and sodium content. Schools that qualify for Federal reimbursement will be affected. The standards were part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 that Michelle Obama advocated for as First Lady.
