The Nature Conservancy is an international, nonprofit conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Our mission is to conserve the lands and waters upon which all life depends. The Nature Conservancy continues to support a five year reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through passage of the Flood Insurance Reform and Modernization Act currently being considered by the United States Senate.
