Former Special Prosecutor, Watergate Special Prosecution Force
Henry Ruth served for 28 months as Deputy Special Prosecutor and then Special Prosecutor of the Watergate Special Prosecution Force. Previously, he was a prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Organized Crime Section and served in Civil Rights Division in Mississippi in 1964. He also was Deputy Director of President Lyndon Johnson’s National Crime Commission. He has been a civil and criminal defense litigator with law firms in Washington, DC and Philadelphia and was General Counsel of the United Mine Workers Health and Retirement Funds in the late 1970s.
