Honorable Carolyn Maloney

Rep. Maloney was elected to Congress in 1992, becoming the first woman to represent New York’s 12th District. Prior to her career in Washington, she was a member of the New York City Council. She is the current chairwoman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. She is also a member of the Joint Economic Committee and House Committee on Financial Services.
